The "Transistophon" was beyerdynamics first wireless system, which was launched in 1962. Not only with beyerdynamic branding, but also as OEM manufacturer a range of wireless systems was developed over the years. From the, in Germany very often used "8m" band (around 37 MHz), to VHF Systems (around 200 MHz), UHF (between 400 and 900 MHz) up to devices that send around 5.8 GHz (Conference, i.e. Quinta).
