For theatre, musical or presentations where lavaliere microphones are commonly used, the Opus 650 set combines the TS 600 beltpack transmitter with the MCE 60 microphone. The MCE 60 has an omnidirectional polar pattern and is insensitive to handling and pop noise. The microphone attaches via the supplied microphone clip to clothing and due to its small size, it also can easily be concealed in the hair or in makeup for theatre applications.

The Opus 600 wireless system is recommended for stage performances and small installations (hotels, sports halls, churches etc.). It meets all technology and transmission quality requirements while still being very reasonably priced.
The Opus 600 wireless system is equipped with the automatic frequency setting function, has 16 pre-programmed UHF frequency settings and can be operated with up to 16 channels per frequency range (depending on environment and specific national regulations), simultaneously and with no interference. The latest true-diversity technology, pilot signal detection and adjustable squelch ensure reliable transmission and noise-free reception.
The flexible interchangeable capsule system on the handheld transmitter offers a multitude of possible applications. Two different receivers, two transmitters and three interchangeable capsules are available in the Opus 600 series. Alternatively, five different complete sets, which all offer true “beyerdynamic sound”, are available.

This function allows you to make fine adjustments to the squelch. This is mostly necessary when several wireless systems are used simultaneously and there is interference on individual channels. In principle, the adjustment of the squelch affects the sensitivity; this also has a direct effect on the range of the system. Interference is eliminated by reducing the sensitivity of the channel affected by interference until only the main signal is being is received.

Pilot tone recognition allows the receiver to remain inactive until the transmitter is switched on. This prevents unwanted noise.

Pocket transmitters: Switching between the Mic/Line levels makes it possible to use a pocket transmitter in a versatile manner. Using the switch, both neckworn and lavaliere microphones as well instruments such as electric guitars can be used.
