Any questions left?

Which impedance should I use?

80 and 250 ohms are the most common studio heroes, as you usually connect an interface or mixer at home. If you mainly connect your studio headphones to a mobile source, e.g. smartphone/laptop, low-impedance headphones make sense, 32 ohms in our case. The PRO X series is an exception here, the driver is so powerful that you can listen to music loud enough from any source.

Closed or open studio headphones?

That depends entirely on the application. The housing of closed headphones is built in such a way that little or no ambient noise can be heard, but at the same time no sound escapes from the headphones that could be perceived as disturbing by those around you. When recording in the recording studio, closed headphones are necessary so that no sounds from the playback that is played to the artist via the headphones get into the recording track via the microphone. Open headphones offer the advantage that they sound a little more voluminous and detailed and give the music a better feeling of space. It also reduces the feeling of so-called “localization in the head”, which feels as if the sound does not come from an external sound source, but rather originates in the head. Open headphones are recommended, especially for mixing and mastering.

What is the difference between DT 770 PRO & DT 700 PRO X?

The DT Classic PRO series includes world-famous studio headphones, such as the DT 770 PRO, which are ideal for producing, mixing, mastering and many other studio tasks. However, they require a quality amplifier or audio interface to get the most out of them. Thanks to the STELLAR.45 driver, the PRO Furthermore, comfort and the entire construction have been improved and a removable mini-XLR cable has been implemented, which can be replaced depending on the intended use. Thanks to the STELLAR.45 driver in the studio, connected to an interface or amplifier, the PRO X series delivers excellent sound - but you can also use it on the go, as they also reach a sufficient volume directly connected to a laptop or smartphone.

Furthermore, comfort and the entire design have been improved and a detachable Mini-XLR cable has been implemented, which can be replaced depending on the intended use.
